Area math

Area of a right-angled rectangle or square = W x L

Area of a right-angle triangle = ½ (W x L)

Area of centreline “C” = (area A + area B) ÷ 2

Area of a circle =π R² or (D²π) ÷ 4

Circle math

Circumference = π D or 2πR or π2R

Corrected diameter = (Major diameter – width)

Volume math

Volume(V) = Area X Height (Ht)

V = W x L x Ht.

Perimeter method;

Square or rectangle - add up the outer perimeter. Subtract (4 X width) = length

Triangle math

Pythagoras theorem; to find the hypotenuse of a right-angle triangle; a² + b² = c² ; (3² + 4² = 9 + 16 = 25), c = √25 = 5
